A shy "brown eyed handsome man", tall and quiet with the giveaway LONG fingers of a dj, came into the shop one day. We met, connected on that higher musical plane and never looked back. This is DJ Corey: NYC hip-hop and bass from a man whose mixes we've been proud to carry since he started on that 'higher' level. Always good solid mixing old school style: no yakking, just two turntables and the magic that ensues. It's the way he concentrates on each jam that EARNED him his own room. He "dotes" on each record, giving you the full groove, mixing and remixing parts of it live, then smoothly blends over to the next jam. He's got a style all his own, and Apollojams is better for having the slice of real hiphop DJ Corey brings.
